Mall

Last week was my first time in Cebu. I accompanied Kathy for a business trip so from the airport we headed straight to Cebu Business Park in Lahug City. Upon entering the compound, I suddenly felt that I was transported back to Ortigas. Familiar names like Starbucks, Globe, SM, McDonalds welcomed us there.. Honestly, I never expected Cebu to be this "commercialized" (I guess I'm just stupid in expecting to see ricefields and coconut trees). While Kathy was dealing with business concerns, I decided to stroll around Ayala Mall just a few blocks away from her office. The layout of the mall is very similar to Glorietta and Galleria so I just instinctively found my way around. I bought a camera bag in Travel Club and grabbed a few "authentic" Cebuano sweets

"I felt that shopping items in Cebu is cheaper than their Manila counterpart. (I'm just not sure though) Is there truth to this or Am I just hallucinating from to much walking?".
