An 80's solution to an 80's problem. The 4th longest bridge in the Philippines connecting Ilocos to Cagayan, the Patapat Viaduct. The steep edge of the mountain and yearly landslides makes it impossible to build a road along the mountain, so they built the road on the coastline instead. This viaduct provide travellers with sweeping vistas of Pasaleng Bay and Bangui Bay.
